Something I often struggle with when I get dressed is wearing what’s easy versus what’s fresh. Easy is likely something I had worn previously or recently, or maybe an outfit I had put together before. Whereas fresh is a more unlikely combination, something maybe a bit outside my comfort zone, or even just a new spin on an old favorite.
This outfit combines both scenarios: this chambray top is a favorite go-to of mine, and these pants are a definite staple in my wardrobe (I mean they are black pants!). The spin comes from pairing them with these fun wedge boots, messy beach hair and elongating accessories. Maybe this doesn’t seem like much, but these small changes give this look a totally different feel, something so important for a girl like me who’s working a wardrobe on a budget.
This yummy Coach bag is a special piece in my closet. My grandparents gave it to my Mom on her 10 year wedding anniversary. I happen to be obsessed with this line of camel leather Coach bags from the 90′s and after noticing she hadn’t worn it for a while I crossed my fingers and asked if I could borrow it. And, well, you see how that turned out. Thanks, Mom!

Glad you nicely asked for the Coach bag… it’s so perfect and it’s even better that it has some family history.
