On Rainy Days:
When the rain comes in hard and cold who doesn’t want to snuggle up in bed under the warm covers?  I know I do!  Precipitation or not life had to go on today and with a full list of things to do I needed an outfit that was comfortable and functional.  So what are my rainy day essentials?  Well rain boots are a must to manage through puddles, and a cute umbrella is a little something to keep me smiling when I’m feeling chilly amidst the raindrops.  Plus a durable trench over a pretty, quick-drying blouse is a total necessity to keep the drizzles away!

On Bright Tights:
My new favorite Fall accessory?  Bright tights!  They’re cute, comfortable and add so much pizazz to the most basic outfit.  This pair is from Forever 21.  They were only $7 and are thick, opaque, and have the perfect amount of stretch.  Pick up a pair for yourself and wear them with mixed neutrals, a solid top paired with a printed skirt or shorts, or vice versa.  Boots or flats keep them casual for day while a feminine pair of heels will dress any pair of colored tights up for evening.  What an easy way to add some cheer into our typically dark cold-weather wardrobe!
