Dressed for: Errands, cleaning, working from home
Wearing:
‘Sophie’ Hat: Urban Outfitters
Sweater: Thrifted
Skirt: Nordstrom Rack, gift from Mom
Tights: Target
Booties: n by Nicole Miller, JC Penney
On Shiny Sweaters:
This sweater caught my eye right away with its soft shimmer and funky deer-meets-greyhound-like shapes. A shiny sweater is cute paired with jeans and boots, or sassy with a snug fitting mini. Since I was just running around town and preparing for visitors at home I paired it with this draped skirt for a girly, laid back look. Anything sparkly is just so fun this time of year, and this sweater is no exception!

Dressed for: Vintage shopping
Wearing:
Blouse: Pajama Top, Christmas Eve Gift from Mom-In-Law
Under Jacket (olive): Won from Pretty Pleased
Over Jacket (tan): Banana Republic
Watch Necklace: Armoire New Orleans
Jean Shorts: NY & Co.
Tights: Wal-Mart
Socks: Husband’s Closet
Boots: F21
On Daytime Pajamas:
Every Christmas Eve my mother-in-law gives us one gift to open, and it’s always the same: a fresh pair of cozy pajamas. My husband grew up with this super fun tradition and it’s something I now look forward to every year. This year after opening a pair of silky leopard print pjs I knew the top was just perfect for a daytime look. Because there are a few pajama-like details, like piping around the collar and slits up the side, a few layers make the leopard stand out as a fun accent without giving away its bed-time origins.
