Bayou St. John (previously seen here on a cloudy day) is so peaceful in the afternoon. The momentary calm is welcome as I prepare for the fast-paced and ridiculously exciting week to come. NOLA Fashion Week starts on Monday, and before we kick it off with some awesome parties, networking events, workshops and runway shows, we’ve got a bit more work to do. Andi and I will be doing fittings and organizing the runway looks over the weekend. I can’t believe it’s almost here… and I just can’t wait!

OK, you are rockin the fabulous photos. I absolutely adore these & your outfit, it’s so chic and perfect for Spring. xx veronika
you know i love the hat! love all blue in the shots!
The blue with the neutrals is so spring and I just love it! I also am crushing on your shorts. American Eagle, believe it or not, has a pair that look just like them that I was eyeing and seeing how cute your are on you I may just have to give in. Perfect weekend chic! :-)
Those shorts are so flattering! I love how soft and drape-y the fit is on you.
Love the Pop of color that cardigan brings to that otherwise soft colored outfit. I too love your shorts.

Well first off – I love these photos. Everything about them from the vibrant colors to the beautiful backdrop. You’ve got a good thing going on here. Also, those shorts are awesome! Next, if you don’t post (or hear from me before) best of luck with your first fashion week. I’m sure it’s going to be a smash hit. I’d love to see some behind the scenes photos on the blog.
Love the shorts.
Love this color on you – so chic!! Love your blog as well! Your photos are beautiful!

Absolutely LOVING the colors in these pictures, both in the scenery and your adorable and gorgeous outfit.
I have been searching high and low for the perfect hat just like this one…maybe a wider brim, maybe one that doesn’t make my head look like a peanut…You look wonderful in hats. Lucky dawg…
AHHHH! you are seriously so stunning in these photos lady :)
Wowza, such a gorgeous shade of blue! Love how much it pops in these photos, and also really loving the hat on you!

Love the new camera! I just bought the t2i a few weeks ago, and I’ve been slow to navigate my way around it. What setting are these on? Also…what photo editing program are you using?
