The Next Stop Foundation is a day program for high functioning special needs adults in the Greater Atlanta area, founded back in 2006 by my husband and his parents as a place for his special needs brother and sister to socialize and learn among peers after aging out of the school system. The program is obviously close to our hearts, so when their annual golf tournament rolls around each May we pack up the car, and the dogs, to take part. Austin hit the golf course and I manned the check-in table, but not before taking a stroll around the golf course. This cheerful yellow tee pretty much sums up the mood of the day, full of joy and celebration for a fantastic cause.

Blouse: Urban Outfitters, Necklace: DIY with Thrifted Beads, Shorts: Swapped at Ruffian Swap, Clutch: Swapped at TxSCC Swap Heels: Steve Madden
From New York, to Austin, to Boston, to New Orleans – these shorts have had quite a journey. While their origins remain unknown, the story of how I came to find them began when Pamela at Market Publique sent them to The Swapaholics’ Texas Style Council Swap. There, Punky picked them up and took them home to Boston. After deciding to not join the circus, she brought them with her when she and Melissa came to New Orleans last week to co-host a Ruffian Swap with me. The shorts were put in the swap shop, where I found the little darlings, swiftly scooped them up and made them mine.

My favorite clothes are those I can wear over and over again, in new ways every time. I challenge myself to never wear the same exact outfit twice, so simply changing a few pieces is an easy way to create an entirely new look with my most loved garments. The hard part is finding the perfect base, like this Chloe & Reese dress that fits just right in all the right places. These are just four of the infinite ways to wear this versatile dress, making its longevity endless. The most important thing to remember is to have some fun with your wardrobe and and make the most of it!
